Modernist Inspired Garnet Ring - The Wynne Ring
The Wynne Ring is named after Emily’s grandmother Wynne, who’s gold and garnet necklace she inherited.
Emily loved the necklace but it didn’t suit her style and she hadn’t ever worn it.
We had a design consultation about what she wanted from her new piece of jewellery and, after deciding that it would be a ring, we discussed the memories that she had about her grandmother. Her grandparents had owned a mid-century furniture shop and lived in a Modernist house. Her most vivid memories of her Grandmother were set within these architecturally designed settings.
For the design we took inspiration from mid-century modernist imagery ending up with The Wynne Ring!
