Amber and Gold pendant – L’Ambra
This gold (plated) and amber necklace started it’s life as a silver bracelet.
The bracelet had a loose clasp, and lived in my customer’s drawer. She liked the way it looked, but didn’t want to lose it as it had huge sentimental value.
We discussed options at length and decided to change it into a necklace, which she could wear closer to her heart.
We also decided to add gold vermeil plating (a thick and durable gold plating) as gold and amber are a match made in heaven.
